Dr. Jing Zhang is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon, accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She has extensive medical experience, having acquired a PhD at the University of Alberta where she practiced for several years prior to her Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Toronto. She was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons as a board-certified plastic surgeon in 2013. She then obtained the University of Toronto Hand and Wrist Surgery Fellowship, followed by a second fellowship at the University of Manitoba in Breast Microvascular and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Zhang is currently a full-time professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa and staff Plastic Surgeon at The Ottawa Hospital. She specializes in complex reconstruction of the breast and extremities, as well as microsurgical breast cancer reconstruction. She has represented plastic surgeons in provincial breast-cancer care programs and actively publishes numerous research studies in breast and microsurgery.
